Gulshan Kumar Jha, born on 17 February 2006 in Aaurahi, Sagardina, Sarlahi, is a promising Nepalese cricketer who has quickly become a prominent figure in the national team. A left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler, Jha is recognized as a talented all-rounder. His rapid rise in international cricket began when he made his One Day International (ODI) debut for Nepal against the United States on 17 September 2021. At just 15 years and 212 days old, he earned the distinction of becoming the third youngest ODI player in the world, signaling his immense potential from the very start of his career.

Jha's journey to the national team was accelerated by his impressive performances in domestic cricket. He first gained significant attention during the Kathmandu Mayor’s Cup 2021 while playing for Nepal Police Club.
