Nepali Congress 15th General Convention Begins in Kathmandu The 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress began in Kathmandu on October 4, 2026, under the leadership of party President Gagan Kumar Thapa . The inauguration ceremony took place at the historic Khula Manch (Tudikhel) in Kathmandu, a venue associated with major democratic rallies in Nepal's political history. More than 7,000 active representatives and delegates from across Nepal's 165 parliamentary constituencies are participating in the convention.
