Early Life and Background
Kiran KC was the 13th child in his family, growing up in a large household in Imadol, Lalitpur. His father served as a second lieutenant in the Nepal Army, and most of his family members continued the legacy of military service. However, Kiran chose a different path, demonstrating a strong inclination toward the arts from a young age.
Despite his father’s aspirations for him to join the army, Kiran pursued a career in entertainment, which eventually led to his success as a comedian and actor. As a child, Kiran was known for his squeamish nature and reluctance to wear clothes, a trait that set him apart from his siblings. He actively participated in local cultural programs, showcasing his talent in acting and comedy. He also excelled in extracurricular activities such as short jump, long jump, badminton, and football.
Career Beginnings and Rise to Fame
Kiran KC began his acting career at the Rashtriya Naach Ghar, where he worked alongside the famous comedy duo Maha Jodi. His performance in the TV series Jire Khursani as Rata Makai garnered widespread acclaim, making him a beloved figure in Nepali households. Before his role as Rata Makai, Kiran was also known for his portrayal of the character Kallu.
His versatility as an actor extended beyond television. Kiran KC played memorable roles in several films, including LalPurja as Dedo Taxi Driver, further solidifying his reputation as a versatile actor. His comedic timing and relatable characters resonated with audiences, earning him a loyal fan base.
