Ambiancé (2020): The Longest Movie Ever Made That No One Will Ever See

Directed by Swedish filmmaker Anders Weberg, Ambiancé holds the title of the longest movie ever made, with a jaw-dropping runtime of 720 hours — that's a full 30 days. Yet, in a bizarre and mysterious twist, no one has ever seen the full film.

Weberg, known for his experimental art, announced that Ambiancé would be a one-time screening only. After its premiere, he vowed to destroy the film forever, making it the longest film to ever exist... and not exist.

In December 2021, after nearly three years of silence, Weberg declared: “It’s done.” Since then, the full movie has disappeared, leaving behind only a surreal 7-hour and 20-minute trailer — the only glimpse the world will ever have of this cinematic enigma.
